UK – Permits Foundation responds to the Migration Advisory Committee and UK Border Agency on the level of an annual limit on economic migration.

The UK Government has asked the Migration Advisory Committee and the UK Border Agency to consult on the introduction of an annual cap on non-EU economic migration. Permits Foundation expressed the view that a cap on highly skilled business migration will harm the UK’s economy and its competitiveness as an international business hub. The foundation also stressed the importance of maintaining the rights of family members to accompany and work in the UK.
