Permits Foundation’s Chair Gill Gordon and Director Helen Frew were delighted to host a corporate roundtable at the fantastic FEM EMEA conference last week. Participants discussed the evolving approach that companies are taking to ensure that a positive family experience is a part of an employee’s relocation abroad. Topics covered included the importance of pre-move conversations between employers and the family unit, how to help non-married relocating couples and the changing expectations of the new generation of international dual career partners.
Priority destinations were discussed. The US remains a country of interest. The Middle East was also highlighted not only at the roundtable but by many participants at the conference as well – clearly an area for the Foundation to focus on going forward.
