India – Permits Foundation campaigns for a change in the regulations on employment rights for expatriate spouses in India.

Permits Foundation has proposed that the spouses of intra-company transferees be permitted to take employment or self employment during the course of an assignment in India, as is the case in many other countries. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) supports the foundation’s proposals.
