Siobhan Cummins

Siobhan Cummins is Managing Director of ORC’s International Compensation Services and Practice (ICS) in Europe and is General Manager of the London Office.

Since joining ORC in 1991, Siobhan has been responsible for the management and development of the ICS practice in Europe. She works closely with clients who subscribe to ORC's International Compensation Services across Europe including Switzerland, Scandinavia, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain etc. She is also actively involved in international project consulting and, in particular, the design and development of international assignment policies. She has been involved in a wide range of consulting projects for a number of major European Multinational including Nestle, Airbus, BAT, Phillips Swiss Re and Unilever.

She has experience in all aspects of human resources, including international and domestic policy design and development, recruitment and selection and general personnel management.

Siobhan regularly speaks at conferences and meetings in the UK and internationally. In addition to her consulting activities Siobhan chairs two of ORC’s Meeting Groups, the UK Expatriate Forum and the European Expatriate Policy Forum. Both are multi-industry networks of HR Professionals with over 35 member companies and focus on all aspects of expatriation. In addition she regularly takes part in ORC's public and custom training programmes. Siobhan is a regular contributor of articles to a number of magazines on a wide range of expatriate related issues, she has also appeared on CNN Traveller programme.

Before joining ORC, Siobhan held a number of personnel management positions with a variety of companies including British Electricity International, a subsidiary company of National Power, where she was Head of Personnel and International Assignment Services. She has both lived and worked in the Far East, Middle East, Australia and Africa.

Siobhan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD) and World at Work. She is also an Associate Director of Crème – Centre for Research into the Management of Expatriation, part of Cranfield Business School, a board member to the Permits Foundation and Focus Information Services and a member of the Advisory Council of AHRMIO.
